The ideal candidate will have deep industry expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and prior experience serving as an expert witness or in litigation support.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze complex financial documents, transactions, and industry practicesPrepare detailed expert reports, opinions, and rebuttals for legal proceedings Provide deposition and courtroom testimony as requiredCollaborate with legal teams to develop case strategy and technical arguments Interpret financial regulations, compliance standards, and industry normAssess damages, risk exposure, and fiduciary responsibilitiesStay current with evolving financial laws, regulations, and market practicesBasic QualificationsMinimum 10–15 years of experience in financial services (e.g., banking, compliance, or risk management)Demonstrated expertise in one or more areasBanking operations and lendingFinancial regulations and complianceElectronic payments, banking, and financial technology, including processing, security, and fraud preventionPrior experience serving as an expert witness or supporting litigation strongly preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and testimonyAbility to explain complex financial concepts clearly to non-experts Preferred QualificationsAdvanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fieldProfessional certifications such as CFA, CPA, FRM, or similarExperience with regulatory bodies or enforcement actionsFamiliarity with litigation procedures and expert witness standardsFTI Consulting is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, protected veteran status, religion, physical or mental disability, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, or any other basis protected by law, ordinance, or regulation.CompensationMinimum Pay: 162,000.00Maximum Pay: 507,000.00Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role.
