Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting within a Level II Trauma Center at a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, delivering high-acuity critical care
• Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilator support , chest tubes , central venous lines (CVL) , and external ventricular drains (EVDs)
• Support patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery , trauma , and neurosurgery recovery
• Perform accurate lab interpretation and clinical assessment to guide patient care decisions
• Float between units as needed to support staffing across the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required
• Demonstrated experience with ICU, cardiovascular surgery, trauma, ventilators, chest tubes, CVLs, EVDs, and neurosurgery patients
• Must be available to work weekends (6 weekend shifts expected to fulfill unit needs)
• Must be willing to commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly high-acuity environment
• Familiarity with neurosurgical and cardiovascular surgical patient populations
