What you’ll do (Role Expectations) Design and standardize global leave frameworks that balance statutory requirements with company benefits, serving as the lead SME for complex ADA cases and regulatory consistency Build and implement Leave of Absence & Time Off and disability process and polices; implementing new vendors and solutions as necessary Manage Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) by enforcing SLAs, leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and conducting audits to ensure service excellence Oversee the end-to-end leave lifecycle, partnering with HRIS to automate tracking and ensure seamless integration across vendors, Workday, ServiceNow, and payroll systems Leverage analytics and dashboards to identify bottlenecks, automate manual tasks, and continuously improve program performance and the employee experience Cultivate a high-performing, inclusive global team that drives results through cross-functional relationships, leading through ambiguity and demonstrating a "one team" mindset Who You Are (Success Profile) You thrive and can deliver results in ambiguity. What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field and 8+ years of progressive experience in an employer Health & Welfare Benefits team role, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Global Leave of Absence and Disability administration 3+ years of direct people management experience, ideally leading distributed or global teams Deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state laws (FMLA, ADA, CFRA, PFL) and a strong working knowledge of statutory leave systems in key international markets Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Absence Management software, and case management systems What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience identifying opportunities to deploy generative AI tools or automated workflows to scale leave administration, replace manual processes, and improve the employee experience Extensive experience managing statutory and supplemental leave programs across EMEA, APJ, and AMS, alongside a strong background in Health & Welfare, Retirement, and Wellness administration Proven track record of leading large-scale change management initiatives, including transitioning global workforces to centralized TPA models and successfully integrating leave policies during Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Experience in a fast-paced tech or startup environment with a workforce of 5,000+ employees is highly preferred Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits. Base Pay Range

$150,500 - $215,000 USD
