Security Senior Manager Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Security Senior Manager to join the Enterprise Classified Security team supporting Space Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) team in Seal Beach, CA; Arlington, VA; Aurora, CO; Colorado Springs, CO; El Segundo, CA; Herndon, VA; Huntsville, AL; or Mesa, AZ. The manager will serve as Deputy to the SI&WS Senior Security Manager with oversight of all SI&WS programs across the Boeing Enterprise. This position will manage employees performing activities to protect information from unauthorized disclosure, including security inquiries, compliance assessments and implementation of security controls in the Department of Defense (DoD)/Department of War (DOW), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) domains. As manager, you will work with senior and junior staff members and other managers to administer and implement United States Industrial Security Standards as outlined in 32 CFR 117 National Industrial Security Program Manual (NISPOM), SCI Security Directives, and DoDM 5205.07 SAP Security Manual and/or other authoritative sources of security regulations. Position Responsibilities: Oversees the development and implementation of an operational security program, SOP, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or complex programs Oversight of the security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information Oversee Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements Develops and implements integrated departmental plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved Assigns authority and responsibilities to execute the plan Reviews plans' execution, makes appropriate adjustments, and resolves issues Develops and advances business cases to support continuation of program, projects or processes Mentors and provides developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities of direct reports Promotes employee recognition and builds a departmental culture that improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce Conveys organizational messages and facilitates the accomplishment of departmental goals Keeps others informed by communicating program or project status, conducting and participating in team meetings, providing presentations and listening to employee concerns and suggestions Implements strategies to improve open and honest communication within the department Communicates policies and directives to enhance employee awareness and clarify expectations Establishes partnerships and relationships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports. Improves processes to achieve goals Enforces company rules and policies regarding ethical behavior, safety, security, use of company property, time charging, etc. Creates a culture of continuous improvement Charters process improvement teams and modifies departmental structures to improve operating effectiveness Identifies opportunities to improve departmental processes Oversees Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements Performs occasional second-shift or after-hours work schedules to accommodate program operations Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years 5+ years of experience in Industrial Security working as a CPSO/ACPSO on Special Access Programs (SAP) 5+ years of experience in leading teams and team development Ability to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Program (SAP) access Willing to submit to and successfully pass a U.S. Government-administered polygraph examination Capable of traveling up to 30% of the time Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience 10+ years of security-related work experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP, and/or SCI 10+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives in the Defense or Aerospace environment 10+ years of experience communicating with internal and external customers CDSE, NSTI/SASSI or other Professional Certification in SAP Security, SCI Administration, ICD-705, JSIG/RMF, COMSEC, or related security certifications Experience working in an SCI/SAP/Aerospace security/intelligence community environment Experience with the NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals Experience prioritizing and multi-tasking with minimal supervision and working in a fast-paced environment Experience in maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external customers Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
