Work Environment

The role is based onsite within our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Arlington. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions, documenting initial evaluations including diagnostic tests and functional abilities.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals and responses to therapy.
• Administer physical therapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like traction and massage, to relieve pain and improve strength.
• Oversee and support physical therapy assistants in the implementation of care plans, ensuring compliance with the latest industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct home evaluations when necessary, making recommendations to optimize the home environment for patient independence.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring timely documentation as per organizational policy.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing to case discussions, and participating in planning and evaluating the overall treatment strategy for clients.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families on physical therapy processes, equipment use, and home exercise programs.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and collaborating with physicians as necessary to enhance therapy outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs to promote best practices and enhance clinical capabilities.

As a Physical Therapist at Motion Menders Therapy, you will work closely with a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from surgeries, trauma, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state-issued PT licensure in good standing.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a rehabilitation or home health environment.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs and implement effective intervention strategies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

Motion Menders Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
