Great Lakes Honda of Short Pump is looking for a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused BDC Sales Representative to join our growing Business Development Center!

If you are confident on the phone, enjoy talking with people, and are motivated by setting appointments and creating sales opportunities, we want to hear from you.

Our BDC team is a critical part of our sales operation. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers and will play a key role in turning internet and phone inquiries into dealership visits and vehicle sales.

What You’ll Do

• Respond quickly and professionally to inbound internet, phone, email, and chat leads
• Make outbound calls to prospective customers and follow up consistently
• Build relationships with customers and identify their vehicle needs
• Qualify sales leads and schedule appointments for the Sales Team
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly appointment-setting goals
• Follow up with customers who have not yet purchased
• Confirm appointments and work to maximize show rates
• Provide customers with accurate information regarding vehicles, availability, promotions, and dealership services
• Maintain accurate customer information and detailed follow-up notes in the CRM
• Work closely with Sales Managers and Sales Consultants to ensure a smooth handoff
• Re-engage previous customers and unsold prospects to create additional sales opportunities
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every call and interaction
• Consistently follow dealership processes, call schedules, and BDC best practices

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

• Previous BDC, call center, automotive sales, customer service, or sales experience preferred
• 1–3 years of automotive BDC or sales experience is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident and professional telephone presence
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
• Comfortable making a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
• Motivated by goals, performance, and earning potential
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with computers and CRM systems
• VinSolutions and CDK experience is a plus
• Must be dependable and have excellent attendance
