The Day Center Program Assistant is responsible for providing direct therapeutic activities and service to Center participants.

Qualifications for a Day Center Program Assistant:

High school diploma/equivalency
OTA, PTA education in activities programming highly desirable Experience with working with elderly and/or adults with disabilities
Understanding of geriatrics/working with the elderly
Excellent communication skills - cheerful disposition
Willingness to help
Creative Flexible
Motivated to make a difference
Common sense and ability to work with supervision
Non-judgmental - awareness of the need for individual dignity
