Days Left: 22 days, 3 hours left Apply Title: Accountant Type: Full-time Location: Houston, TX Pay Range: 70K-115K Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with applicable U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
- Maintain compliance with SOX controls over corporate accounting
- Assist in collaboration with cross-functional groups such as BD, HR, HSE, IT, Real Estate, Tax, Treasury, and Legal to deliver accurate and timely reporting for executive and upper-level management
- Assist in month-end close processes to facilitate timely and accurate financial results for indirect support functions and corporate accounting processes, as well as forecast and budget support
- Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Gather information and review data to ensure the accuracy of accruals and month-end results
- CPA or actively working on completing
- Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or other related field and two to five years of experience in accounting-related roles
- Between 2-10 years of experience
- SAP experience: specifically in fixed assets and intercompany transactions
- Oil and gas background
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro
- Knowledge of US GAAP
