The newly renovated Avante at Mt. Dora is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant to maintain the grounds, facility interior and exterior, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, to ensure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.

Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of high school education or equivalency or otherwise show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.


Education and Experience:
• Completion of High School
• 2-4 years' experience in related field

Background Screening Requirement:

This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
