Job Description

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Elkton MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. What Youll Do:

Provide customer service to staff patients visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings entrances parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols while reporting suspicious behavior policy violations and/or maintenance concerns.
Support day-to-day operations by providing directions assisting with visitor inquiries and reporting security-related issues that could impact patients staff and/or facility operations.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
