Travel Physical Therapist - $2,123 per week

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) Location: Hagerstown, Maryland – 13‑week travel assignment. Start Date: July 20 2026. 40 hours/week on 8‑hour shifts. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, injury‑prevention strategies, and self‑management techniques. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection‑control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Participate in quality‑assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Contribute to discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home settings. Perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Maryland. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Experience in therapy; new graduates are welcome. Additional certifications or licenses as required.
