Acute Care NP/PA - Local Contract, High Volume, $85-$105/hr

TheraEX Staffing Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Acute Care for a local contract job in Leland, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Acute Care Discipline: Nurse Practitioner Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Local Contract Position Overview Role: Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Location: Wilmington and Leland, NC (Local candidates within 60 miles only) Schedule: Full‑time hours; consistent coverage needed through the summer Pay Rate: $85 - $105 per hour (Based on experience and current NC market trends) Call: No Call Clinical Responsibilities Sole Provider: Must be comfortable and capable of treating all patients as the sole provider in the center. Patient Volume: High‑volume care ranging from 40 to 60 patients per day. Patient Demographics: All ages, from 6 months and up. Procedures: Standard Urgent Care procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures. Support: You will be supported by a Center Manager, MA, and PSA, with an offsite Supervising Physician provided. Requirements Experience: Minimum of 12 months of experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting. Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) License and NC DEA. Certification: Board Certification (NCCPA for PAs; AANP/ANCC for NPs in Family, Urgent Care, or Acute Care). Life Support: BLS is required; ACLS, PALS, and DOT certification are highly preferred. EMR: Proficiency in Epic is required. Logistics & Onboarding Travel: Local candidates only. Mileage is reimbursed up to 60 miles total (30 miles each way). Interview: Clinical screening interview followed by a required EMR training and onboarding session (held on set Wednesdays). Credentialing: Estimated timeframe of 20 days. Why FastMed?
