Role Description
Seeking an experienced .NET developer to support existing custom applications. Applications are primarily in C# with SQL backend. In addition, this role will offer application support for the following applications: REDCap, SAS, and GitHub.
- Ability to meet occasionally for training and meetings between 7:30am and 4pm.
- Work may be done independently with a flexible schedule.
- Requires excellent communications and documentation skills.
- Ability to interact directly with application users to elicit requirements and support applications.
- Posting is for 2026 with possible extension through 2027.
Qualifications
- 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
- Independent .NET development
- 6 Years of experience
Requirements
- Code enhancement and development programs and/or required fixes to production problems using the functional and technical programming standards.
- Analyze and design enhancements, development programs, and/or required fixes to production problems.
- Work with users to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
- Plan all required process steps.
- Review and understand the Application Team’s workplan.
- Provide status of work to Team Lead.
- Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application Team. Develop contingency plans as necessary.
- Engage in ongoing process improvement.
- Detailed functional and process knowledge.
- Utilize deep modeling, design and coding skills.
- Provide expertise in SQL database environments.
- Provide excellent system documentation.
- Proactively propose changes/updates to solutions.
