Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in an interventional radiology setting within a breast care center. The RN will support patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout their experience.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer patient assessments and establish care plans tailored to interventional radiology procedures.
  
  
• 
  Support physicians during minimally invasive procedures, ensuring adherence to protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any clinical changes.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical interventions, patient responses, and procedural details accurately.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families about procedures, post-care instructions, and safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a sterile environment and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Registered Nurse license with at least 2 years of recent experience in a similar specialty.
  
  
• 
  Possess current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, sterile procedures, and interventional radiology support.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent communication and critical-thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work scheduled hours Monday through Friday, 9AM - 5:30PM.
  
  
• 
  Willingness to work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday per year.
