Substitute Custodian - As Needed

Custodian Position

Under general supervision, the Custodian shall perform routine manual duties to support a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks on and around EVIT's campus. May be assigned other duties to support the functions of the department. The Custodian will keep building spaces clean and orderly and will be assigned to work in various campus buildings.

Job Type: This is not a permanent position. It is an as-needed position to help support the Facilities Department when needed. Typically, hours are 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m with a 30-minute lunch break. Position will work mostly Monday to Friday.

Salary: $22.44 / Hour

Benefits: This position is not eligible for benefits.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or equivalent preferred; Six months of work experience in a related field; or any combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licensing /Certification and Other Requirements: Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Prints (IVP) fingerprint card. Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
