SUMMARY The Accounts Payable Clerk (Agente de Contabilidad) completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. PAY PERKS/pulliCompensation: $28.00 - $29.00 DOE**/liliEarn $1000 for Culinary, Engineering, Housekeeping, and $350 for all other roles for each hired referral at any Evans Hotels property./liliDiscounted Hotel Rooms for you, family and friends./liliFree Employee Parking and/or discounted MTS Pronto card./liliFree Meals Refreshments during working shifts./liliCareer advancement opportunities!/liliHealth (including SIMNSA), Dental, Vision, 401k with match, life insurance, sick and vacation time./liliDiscounts on cell phone bills, shoes, gym memberships, and more!/li/ulpESSENTIAL DUTIES/pulliVerifies invoices for unit of issue, unit price, quantity, extension and applicable taxes against hotel purchase order and receiving advice./liliMaintains accurate files on all authorized purchase orders and review with Purchasing Agent if there are any outstanding./liliMaintains an approved up-to-date vendor/supplier database on the accounts payable system./liliCodes invoices to the appropriate general ledger account and record vendor number./liliPrints and submits checks on a weekly basis with supporting documentation to Controller and Owner for signatures./liliReceives manual check requests and verify accuracy of information and authorized approvals. Input into vendor master as paid after check has been cut./liliTraces all authorized service and contract payments and process payments according to contracted due dates./liliMaintains accurate record of all issued checks and ensure security of all unused checks./liliCollates check copies, attaches to respective invoices, and files in the appropriate vendor file./liliPrints designated reports and distribute as specified by the Controller./liliCancels invoices and void checks as specified by the Controller, following proper accounting procedures./liliFollows up on goods received without an invoice./liliBalances food and beverage invoices with the Daily Receiving Report./liliReviews vendor statements. Reconciles disputes and resolve any invoices that are beyond the acceptable terms for payment./liliCompletes month-end closing procedures as specified. ulliBalance Accounts Payable./liliRun Month End Reports./li/ul/liliPerforms additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pQUALIFICATIONS/pulliHigh school diploma or GED./liliAt least 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./liliA combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement./liliA previous similar position in a restaurant or hotel is preferred./liliAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
