Project Manager

Job Description

Manage approximately 4+ concurrent projects across different stages of the project lifecycle

Own and maintain project plans in Smartsheet

Track deadlines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and action items

Schedule and lead weekly project status meetings

Communicate project status, risks, and upcoming deadlines to stakeholders

Coordinate across internal teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

Help onboard/orient SMEs and ensure they have the appropriate systems, Teams channels, and test-account access

Create and manage Microsoft Teams channels and troubleshoot basic Teams/access issues

Coordinate with the publications team to ensure completed courses move through the publishing process

Support smaller, one-off course enhancement projects as they arise

Take ownership of new projects as existing projects wind down, including building project plans and helping launch work from the beginning

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves

Previous Project Management experience

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Strong organization and ability to manage competing deadlines and deliverables

Comfortable taking over projects that are already in progress

Strong stakeholder communication and meeting facilitation skills

Ability to learn quickly and independently connect the dots

Experience working through a full project lifecycle

Strong responsiveness and availability during standard business hours

Comfortable working in Microsoft Teams

Experience with project plans/project tracking tools, ideally Smartsheet Nice-to-Haves

Direct Smartsheet experience

PMP certification – bonus, NOT required

Experience supporting course development, learning programs, or similar environments

Experience coordinating with SMEs or cross-functional teams
