Sr. Staff Accountant

Job Details Title: Sr. Staff Accountant Location: Austin, Hybrid Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year Company: Global supply chain and electronic components company specializing in sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and distribution solutions for leading manufacturers and OEMs worldwide. Responsibilities Preparing and posting complex journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, verifying and reconciling invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records Producing detailed financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Assisting with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making Coordinating with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations for audit processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or other professional accounting certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role Proficiency in journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial statements Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
