Sr Estimator/Business Development

Senior Estimator / Business Development Manager – Jobot offers a role for experienced professionals in the concrete industry. Salary ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 per year. The position is based in Austin and involves estimating, business development, and client relationship management for a range of concrete projects. Responsibilities Lead estimating efforts for a wide range of concrete projects, including sitework, structural, and flatwork. Drive business development by actively generating new opportunities, building relationships, and securing work in the local market. Partner with operations to ensure accurate pricing, strong margins, and smooth project handoff. Utilize deep knowledge of concrete means, methods, and subcontractor/vendor networks to stay competitive. Represent the company in the field—meet clients, walk jobs, and confidently sell capabilities from first conversation through award. Qualifications 8–15+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a strong focus on concrete (structural, flatwork, site, paving, or self‑perform). Proven background in both estimating and business development—must be comfortable pursuing work, building relationships, and helping win projects. Deep understanding of concrete means, methods, production rates, and pricing. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships (GCs, developers, owners, municipalities, etc.).
