Pay Rate: $22/hr
Duration: Contract
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 2:30 PM–12:30 AM

About the Role:
You’ll provide technical support for production equipment, material handling systems, PCs, printers, and related hardware/software . This role will troubleshoot technical issues, identify recurring problems, coordinate permanent fixes, and work with customers and cross-functional IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot PCs, printers, terminals, RF communication hardware, and production equipment .
• Identify recurring issues and work with IT, engineering, and vendors on permanent solutions.
• Provide second- and third-level technical support .
• Troubleshoot proprietary material handling software and systems.
• Assist customers with complex hardware and software issues.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve technical problems.
• Maintain inventory of PC peripherals, networking equipment, cables, printers, toner, and other equipment .
• Document issues, findings, and recommended solutions.
• Support deployment and repair of PCs, monitors, terminals, and printers.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of IT customer-facing and/or technical support experience preferred.
• Experience supporting printers, terminals, PCs, RF communication hardware, and related equipment .
• Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office .
• Familiarity with network infrastructure and server hardware/software , including Windows Server, Unix/AIX, iSeries/AS400, or VMware/vSphere.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills .
• Ability to work Thursday–Sunday, 2:30 PM–12:30 AM , including weekends/holidays as needed.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for business purposes.
• Associate’s degree in computer programming or a related field required; bachelor’s preferred.

Preferred:

• Network+, Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA certification.
• Distribution center or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with SQL, Visual Basic, Oracle, HTML, PHP, ASP, Access, or databases .
