Job Summary Our client, a leading Insurance Brokerage provider, is seeking a AI Analyst to join their team! Contract Details Contract type and duration: 3 month contract to hire Work location: Chicago, IL Onsite, hybrid or remote expectations: Hybrid Core Responsibilities Own the production pipeline, the portfolio, and the ship decision Own the pilot and the bridge: whether a concept is ready for engineering, and whether the Definition of Ready package is complete enough that engineering can build without going back to discovery Work hands-on with business teams, the proof-of-concept teams, and AI engineering, without writing production code themselves Hands-on pilot builds with the business: working Claude Projects, Skills, and plug-in prototypes assembled directly with the users who will run them, iterated live on real workflows and real feedback Responsible for concept qualification during the pilot: which concepts earn engineering investment, which need another iteration, and which stop at the pilot, with the evidence to defend each call Pilot instrumentation: capturing usage, feedback, failure modes, and value signals during the pilot so the Definition of Ready package is grounded in evidence rather than opinion Prompt, skill, and project refinement during the pilot, translating business user feedback into concrete, testable changes Business partnership during the pilot, including setting expectations on what a pilot proves, what it does not, and what large scale distribution requires Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent demonstrated experience Direct experience with Anthropic Claude Enterprise, including Projects, Skills, plug‑ins, or Model Context Protocol connectors Experience running structured pilots, proofs of concept, or discovery sprints inside an enterprise, including go or no-go recommendations backed by evidence Familiarity with one or more LLM evaluation tools such as RAGAS, DeepEval, Braintrust, LangSmith, Arize Phoenix, Weights and Biases Weave, or OpenAI Evals, or equivalent Familiarity with AI governance frameworks relevant to insurance, specifically the NAIC model bulletin on insurer use of AI systems or the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, including its generative AI profile Awareness of ISO 42001 and the Colorado AI Act is a plus Experience in a regulated environment where least privileged access, audit, and logging are part of normal delivery Insurance or financial services industry experience Familiarity with Applied Epic, Vertafore BenefitPoint or AIM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Orion, Workday, or Oracle Fusion is a plus, as is ACORD data standards exposure Experience inside an AI or automation Center of Excellence or a comparable centralized delivery model RPG or Power Platform exposure, given the team’s automation estate Excel and Power BI or comparable tooling for pilot evidence captures and value signals Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog and delivery management Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $91,000.00 and $130,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
