Supervisor, Quality Control

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences seeks a Supervisor for Quality Control to lead inspection and product release activities at their Indianapolis manufacturing facility. This role manages quality inspectors, oversees regulatory compliance, and drives continuous improvement in a regulated diagnostics and biotechnology environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee all in-process and final product inspection activities per approved procedures and specifications
- Review inspection results and quality documentation to support product disposition and release decisions
- Document, escalate, investigate, and resolve quality issues identified during inspection
- Lead, coach, and develop quality inspection team members including performance management and training
- Develop and improve inspection procedures, work instructions, and standards using data and performance metrics
Requirements
- High school diploma minimum
- 8+ years quality control or manufacturing experience in regulated industries (or 5+ with bachelor's degree, 3+ with master's)
- Strong time management, organization, and independent work capability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior supervisory or coaching experience in regulated manufacturing preferred
