The York team partners with manufacturers, contractors, engineers, and building professionals to help ensure quality, safety, performance, and code compliance. Employees have the opportunity to work on innovative construction and infrastructure projects while gaining hands-on experience in materials testing, inspection, and engineering services.Job DetailsPerform field testing and inspection of construction materials including concrete, soil, asphalt, masonry, and aggregates.Collect samples from active construction sites and document test results in accordance with company and industry standards.Work alongside experienced technicians, engineers, and project managers to help ensure construction materials meet project specifications and quality requirements.ResponsibilitiesConduct field tests on concrete, carpentry/windows, asphalt, and other construction materials.Observe construction activities and verify compliance with project specifications.Prepare samples for laboratory testing when required.Record data and complete detailed reports using company software and equipment.Operate testing instruments and maintain calibration records.Ideal Candidate will enjoy working both outdoors and independently. Also, have an interest in construction, engineering, quality control, or inspection services.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
