Construction Manager – Pharmaceutical Site Location: South Germany Engagement Type: 12‑month contract Sector: Pharmaceutical Language Requirement: German essential The Role We are sourcing an experienced Construction Manager to support an active pharmaceutical manufacturing programme. The position sits at the interface between owner’s engineering and executing contractors, with responsibility spanning multiple concurrent construction projects of moderate to high complexity. This is a coordination‑intensive role with significant stakeholder engagement across internal teams, contractors, and client representatives. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary interface between owner’s engineering and executing contractors across multiple simultaneous construction projects Take ownership of construction execution corresponding to HOAI phases 6 to 8, covering construction supervision, defect management, and project documentation through to final handover Lead the commissioning process in close collaboration with subcontractors, ensuring a structured and compliant transition from construction to operational readiness Manage quality control throughout the handover of all construction activities to the client, maintaining full documentation and audit readiness Enforce occupational health and safety, environmental, and compliance standards across the construction phase, ensuring all contractors operate within site and regulatory requirements Ensure all relevant approval and permit requirements are identified, tracked, and satisfied throughout the construction phase Actively monitor project budget and schedule across multiple workstreams, flagging deviations early and driving corrective action in collaboration with project management Proven experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously in an industrial or pharmaceutical environment in Germany Prior experience on pharmaceutical or GMP‑regulated construction sites Direct working knowledge of HOAI phases 6 to 8 and the responsibilities associated with each #J-18808-Ljbffr Discover International
