As a Security Officer Patrol in Camp Hill, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will use teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach to help create a welcoming environment while staying agile, reliable, and innovative throughout each shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to confirm that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas, following post instructions and visitor protocols.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with hospital staff and the public, assisting with directions, and/or addressing routine security-related concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
