Loan Processor (remote)

This position Reviews, awards, and adjusts federal and private loan applications. Resolves loan reconciliation and discrepancies from both internal and external sources. Responds to loan, mail, phone and in person requests for assistance. Updates, maintains, and creates procedures for our online policies & procedure manual. The position will also evaluate students’ eligibility for and award Winterlude intersession institutional financial aid and Federal TEACH Grants. High school diploma required Associates Degree and 1+ year of Financial Aid experience preferred. Ability to interpret results of these reports to identify and resolve issues and detect trends. Extensive use of email, Microsoft Office products, various federal and lender/servicer websites. Employee must be eligible to obtain access to all Federal aid sites, which require employee, not be in default on any federal loans. Requires the use of PeopleSoft, running and adjusting data reports and queries from software such as Power BI or Tableau.
