This role sits at the intersection of data platform engineering and DevOps, responsible for standing up and operating our Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS environments entirely through Terraform, with fully automated CI/CD delivery pipelines. The ideal candidate treats infrastructure as a software product: version-controlled, tested, peer-reviewed, and deployed without manual intervention. Target start date for both positions is October 1st.\n\n\nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nInfrastructure as Code (Terraform)\n- Build and maintain reusable, versioned Terraform modules that provision Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS resources\n- Manage remote state (locking, encryption, workspace isolation per environment)\n- Keep environment configuration (dev/stage/prod) DRY and parameterized\n- Integrate the Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS Terraform providers into a cohesive, dependency-aware workflow\n\nCI/CD & Automation\n- Design pipelines that run format, validate, plan, policy checks, and gated apply on every change\n- Implement automated testing and drift detection for infrastructure\n- Enforce peer review, plan-output review, and approval gates before production applies\n- Integrate secrets management and least-privilege service credentials into the delivery pipeline\n\nPlatform Engineering & Operations\n- Provision and govern Snowflake (RBAC, warehouses, resource monitors) via code\n- Provision and govern Databricks (workspaces, Unity Catalog, cluster policies, jobs) via code\n- Build the AWS foundation (networking, IAM, encryption, storage) supporting both platforms\n- Implement monitoring, cost visibility, and alerting across all three platforms\n- Own reliability, security posture, and incident response for platform infrastructure\n\nThis position is 2 days a week onsite in Greenwood Village CO and will pay between $50-$60 per hour Insight Global
