Assistant Service Center Manager

Job Details Job Location: PENSACOLA TERMINAL - Pensacola , FL 32503Promote Safe Operations to both office staff and driver force. On-call 24/7 for Terminal/Dispatch support. Scheduling both drivers & office staff (days, nights, wknds, holidays). Daily monitoring of dispatch function, fill in as Dispatcher when needed. Management of office staff members and drivers. Overseeing maintenance of inventory levels for several large accounts Assignment of equipment to driver force. Direct communication with customers regarding dispatch service. Responsible for Customer Care Program and compliance. Investigation of Customer Cargo Loss/Damage claims. Working closely with the Terminal Manager regarding budgetary goals. Maintaining budgeted Driver vs. Truck ratio. Training of new dispatchers. Ensure proper communications between dispatchers and shift changes. Other duties as assigned. ATM position is expected to train for 6 mos and willing to relocate as a Terminal Manager within one of our network locations. Qualifications Minimum 1-3 years of management experience required Minimum 2 years transportation and/or fuel experience required 2 year college degree preferred, but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
