About the Opportunity

Our client is an established, design-driven furniture wholesaler entering an exciting new chapter of growth.

They are seeking an experienced Director of Talent Acquisition to lead the next evolution of their recruiting organization. This highly visible leadership role will build and execute a scalable, data-driven Talent Acquisition strategy supporting long-term business growth, workforce planning, and organizational strategy across the U.S.

This is an opportunity to partner directly with executive leadership, influence enterprise hiring decisions, and transform Talent Acquisition from a transactional recruiting function into a strategic business partner .

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute an enterprise Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives and future growth
• Build proactive workforce plans that anticipate future hiring and talent needs
• Partner with executive leadership to align recruiting priorities with broader organizational strategy
• Lead strategic discussions around AI, automation, and emerging technologies and their impact on hiring, organizational scaling, and workforce planning
• Establish hiring priorities and allocate recruiting resources based on business needs and impact
• Transform the Talent Acquisition function into a strategic, proactive business partner
• Design scalable recruiting processes that improve efficiency, quality of hire, and candidate experience
• Develop and track meaningful recruiting metrics, including pipeline health, quality of hire, time-to-fill, and overall hiring effectiveness
• Use recruiting data and analytics to identify trends and support strategic business decisions
• Lead Talent Acquisition operations, vendor strategy, recruiting processes, and department budgets
• Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

• 15+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience
• 8+ years leading Talent Acquisition strategy, functions, and teams
• Experience leading Talent Acquisition for a mid-sized or high-growth organization of approximately $800 million in revenue and 1,000 employees
• Proven success building, scaling, or transforming enterprise Talent Acquisition functions across multiple job functions and leadership levels
• Extensive workforce planning experience with the ability to develop long-term talent strategies
• Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership to align talent strategy with business priorities
• Experience leveraging AI, automation, recruiting technology, and data to improve recruiting and organizational effectiveness
• Experience overseeing Talent Acquisition operations, vendor strategy, recruiting processes, and department budgets
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate recruiting and workforce data into strategic business decisions
• Proven ability to lead organizational change and gain stakeholder buy-in
