Punch Press Operator

We are seeking an experienced Punch Press Operator with hands-on experience operating and setting up punch presses in a metal stamping/manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with press setups, material feeds, quality inspections, and precision measuring tools.

Requirements of the Punch Press Operator

Hands-on experience operating and setting up punch presses
Experience with punch presses ranging from 10–300 tons
Experience setting up mechanical, servo, or air feeds
Knowledge of pilot release and material straighteners
Ability to read vernier/dial calipers and micrometers
Experience performing in-process quality inspections
Familiarity with Smart Pac or Wintress press operating systems preferred
Manufacturing experience required
Spanish bilingual skills are a plus

Responsibilities of the Punch Press Operator

Set up and operate punch presses according to job specifications
Set material feeds and make adjustments as needed
Perform in-process inspections and verify part dimensions
Monitor press and die performance and report problems
Complete production paperwork, part counts, and time records
Follow packaging and labeling instructions
Stop production when quality issues are identified
Follow ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures and safety requirements

1st shift: 6:00AM - 3:30PM Monday through Friday

Pay is $20.00 - $30.00 an hour, based on experience
