The Direct Support Professional (DSP), PCA / CNA plays a vital role in providing compassionate personal care and support to individuals in need. Working as part of a care team, this role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring safety, and fostering emotional well-being. The position typically follows shift-based schedules, including rotating weekends and holidays, offering meaningful opportunities for those passionate about caregiving and personal support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including hygiene and grooming assistance
• Assist with medication administration following established guidelines
• Support daily living activities to promote independence
• Help with mobility and movement to ensure safety, must be able to lift, transfer without restrictions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients' families
• Monitor safety to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies
• Offer emotional support and companionship
• Coordinate tasks and schedules within the care team
• Monitor health concerns

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in personal care or direct support
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to pass background checks
