McConnell Automotive is looking for a motivated, personable Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. Family-owned and operated since 1955, McConnell Automotive is now in its third generation of family leadership. Whether you have automotive sales experience or a strong background in customer service or sales and are ready to learn the automotive business, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and provide a professional, welcoming dealership experience from the moment they arrive.
• Help customers identify the new or pre-owned vehicle that best fits their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of our GMC lineup, available features, technology, packages and incentives.
• Present and demonstrate vehicles, conduct test drives, and clearly explain features and benefits.
• Respond promptly and professionally to internet leads, phone inquiries, showroom customers, and other sales opportunities.
• Consistently follow up with prospective customers through phone, text, email, and our CRM.
• Build your own customer base through prospecting, referrals, repeat customers, and relationship-building.
• Guide customers through the entire purchasing process, from the initial conversation through vehicle selection, negotiation, financing, and delivery.
• Work closely with sales managers and our finance team to ensure an efficient and professional buying experience.
• Conduct thorough vehicle deliveries and make sure customers understand the technology and features of their new vehicle before leaving the dealership.
• Maintain accurate customer information, notes, appointments, and follow-up activities in the dealership CRM.
• Follow up with customers after the sale to encourage long-term relationships, repeat business, and referrals.
• Participate in product training, sales meetings, and ongoing professional development.
• Work as part of a team to achieve both individual and dealership sales goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Previous automotive sales experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
• Previous experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, retail, or another customer-facing position is a plus.
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and other dealership technology.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
