Job Title

Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU / Neuro Intermediate Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Day/Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intermediate care unit setting with 18 intermediate beds and 18 general neuroscience beds, with the possibility of floating to the Neuro ICU floor
• Manage patients with arterial lines, EVDs, and lumbar drains, including post-operative day zero neuro cases
• Administer TPA and support acute thrombectomy patients as needed
• Manage vasoactive infusions and monitor hemodynamic status
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3 and document care using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License required at time of submission
• CPR – AHA certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant nursing experience required
• Hands-on experience with EVDs, lumbar drains, and arterial lines required
• Basic ability to navigate web-based applications; Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Neuro ICU or Neuro Intermediate Care setting
• Familiarity with vasoactive infusions and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience with acute stroke care and thrombectomy patient populations
