Working closely with your Sales Representatives, you will strategically plan and direct selling activities to drive their success. Responsibilities Team Management: Oversee sales activity and productivity standards, territory management, schedules, and time management for the sales team. Training & Development: Recruit, hire, train, and develop sales professionals. Conduct quarterly sales training sessions and individual performance reviews. Performance Monitoring: Review and analyze sales data and commission reports. Manage the target pipeline lists and ensure alignment with sales goals. Strategic Communication: Establish monthly meetings with the Area VP Sales to discuss regional goals and status. Initiate strategic communication with Sales leadership. Reporting: Submit quarterly reports to the Area VP Sales. Regularly communicate with Marketing Directors and Corporate Accounts on strategic selling situations. Team Environment: Foster a healthy competitive team environment and be involved in top Target Accounts and competitive situations. Accessibility: Be accessible to provide daily troubleshooting and strategic discussions with sales team members. Conduct individual meetings for updates and support. Reinforce Stryker Corporate Sales philosophy and culture statement. Experience & Skills Required Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required. Experience: Minimum of 7 years in sales with a proven history of success required. Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in sales field concepts, practices, and procedures. Skills: Strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in developing and implementing sales programs. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility.
