Material Handler

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe handling and movement of materials, inventory control, and order fulfillment activities. Working closely with warehouse and production teams. Including Shipping, Receiving, assist in waste removal, and labeling of GNT products. This role ensures the timely flow of materials while adhering to all safety, quality, and operational standards. The position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

The role:

• Accurately Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring products are accurately documented and handled according to company standards.
• Carefully Stage and transport materials to support production, shipping, and warehouse operations, ensuring material availability and efficient workflow.
• Properly label GNT products using the established GNT labeling systems to ensure correct identification and compliance with company standards.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts, helping maintain accurate stock levels and ensuring product availability for shipping and production.
• Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring safe handling of inventory and timely fulfillment of customer orders for transport.
• Perform a variety of essential warehouse tasks, including organizing products, maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse, and supporting overall warehousing operations.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned to ensure smooth, efficient warehouse operations and contribute to team success.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and store materials while adhering to all safety and quality requirements.
• Assist with various tasks and provide support to the team lead as needed, ensuring seamless workflow and meeting operational goals.

Additional responsibilities:

• Complete all assigned safety training in a timely manner.
• Stay current with all required training and ensure timely completion.
• Follow the Company's established processes, procedures, and policies, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, and product quality guidelines.
• Maintain a collaborative team mindset while actively supporting GNT's Food Safety culture.

About you, as our ideal candidate:

• 1-2 years experience in a similar role
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to operate forklifts; certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail in picking, labeling, and record-keeping
• Ability to lift at least 55lbs, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
• Ability to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse
• Strong teamwork skills and adaptability to changes
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices
• Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors
• Commitment to following safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Familiarity with GNTs company culture and values
