As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our team to ensure our equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably.The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in maintaining production uptime, supporting automation, and ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance.Why Join RectorSealCompetitive pay and benefitsStable, growing company with a long history of successOpportunities for skill development and career advancementSupportive team environment focused on safety and operational excellenceKey ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems to ensure reliable operation.Troubleshoot and repair molding machines, extruders, granulators, chillers, temperature controllers, conveyors, and other industrial equipment.Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors for service support, parts procurement, and facility projects.Read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and equipment specifications.Ensure all work meets industry safety standards, including electrical and mechanical safety guidelines.Utilize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS – Fiix) to document work orders, track repairs, and manage maintenance tasks.Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including hydraulics and pneumaticsExperience working in a fast-paced production setting with automated equipmentPreferred Skills and Abilities:Experience with injection molding or extrusion equipmentKnowledge of industrial automation and controlsCMMS experience (Fiix or similar)Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departmentsFamiliarity with PLC-controlled systems (experience is a plus)Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementWillingness to obtain NFPA 70E certification if not already certifiedAbility to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutionsAbility to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment schematicsWork Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Compensation:RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The target salary range for this hourly opportunity is $26.00/hr. - $32.00/hr.
