Clinical Nurse Outcomes Coordinator RNBring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with flexibility based on department needs Department highlights: Opportunity to work on a brand-new unit in the beautiful Justin Tower MAGNET facility Level I Trauma Center Teamwork oriented approach Friendly and welcoming environment Extremely positive workplace with a culture of excellenceQualificationsHere's What You Need: Master's Degree Nursing required 2 years' direct patient care experience Required and 5 years of current hospital experience Required Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required Other CNL or other professional nursing certification within 12 Months of hire required SSLP - Six Sigma Lean Professional Upon Hire Preferred Interpersonal skills, Effective oral and written skills, Collaboration and negotiation skills, and Excellent organizational skills What You Will Do: Collaborates with physicians and/or APRN for services needed as well as all with other allied health care providers Partners with physicians by engaging in rounding to discuss priority of patients and patient care needs Participates in interprofessional rounds, leading when appropriate Collaborates with care transitions team to facilitate discharges, RCB measures, review of excess days and patient throughput Facilitates the development, implementation, monitoring, and assessment of processes that impact patient outcomes Uses benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement of care and patient safety Incorporates the quality caring model in daily nursing decisions Participates in shared decision making by participating in councils as requested by nursing leadershipAdditional perks of being a Texas Health Registered Nurse: Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment programs as well as several other benefits.
