Nuclear Medicine Technologist

This role requires someone who can multitask and work collaboratively within a team. Experience in adult and nuclear cardiology settings is necessary. Candidates should be skilled in various nuclear medicine procedures, including gastric emptying studies, HIDA scans, and MUGA scans. Knowledge of radiation safety and handling of radioactive materials is essential. The technologist will be expected to participate in call rotation, including weekends. Working two out of three major holidays is required. Candidates with a pending state license may be considered for this position. All successful candidates must have their required certifications in hand prior to starting. This role includes various responsibilities, encompassing a range of diagnostic procedures and patient care. Interdisciplinary support will be provided within the department. A strong focus on patient safety and quality of care is expected in this position.
