Our personalized approach ensures you find the right fit—not just another shift.\n Position Overview:\n As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVOR Tech), you will play a vital role in supporting complex cardiac surgeries by maintaining sterile conditions, preparing surgical equipment, and assisting the surgical team throughout high-acuity procedures. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with a focus on professional growth and recognition.\n Key Responsibilities:\n \n Serve as the scrub technologist for open-heart, thoracic, and vascular procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repairs, aortic surgeries, and Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) implantations.\n Prepare and maintain sterile fields, managing complex instrument sets, grafts, prosthetic valves, cannulas, and specialized disposables to ensure readiness for each case.\n Pass instruments, sutures, and supplies with precision and efficiency, anticipating the needs of the surgical team during high-stakes cardiac surgeries.\n Collaborate with perfusionists and circulating staff to set up and transition on bypass circuits, including pump priming and management of cardiopulmonary bypass.\n Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols throughout all procedures.\n Assist in troubleshooting equipment and maintaining sterile field integrity in high-pressure situations.\n \n Qualifications & Requirements:\n \n Associate degree or completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program; Bachelor's degree preferred.\n Minimum of 2years of experience as a surgical technologist in a hospital operating room, specifically with cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgeries.\n Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from NBSTSA required.\n Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) a plus.\n Previous experience in cardiovascular surgical procedures highly preferred.\n Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.\n \n Shift & Schedule:\n \n Day Shift: 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts – 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM\n Day Shift: 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts – 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM\n \n Benefits & Perks:\n \n Competitive weekly pay via direct deposit.\n Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.\n Retirement savings options, including 401(k) plans.\n Paid sick leave and paid time off in accordance with legal standards.\n Reimbursement for licensure, certifications, travel, and other eligible expenses.\n Opportunities for ongoing professional development, continuing education, and specialized training.\n Supportive team dedicated to your success and career advancement.\n Robust referral bonus programs and employee recognition initiatives.\n \n Why Choose FSN?\n Join FSN and become part of a supportive, inclusive community committed to your professional development and well-being.
