Are you passionate about helping local businesses grow through innovative advertising and marketing solutions? KSBY, a Scripps-owned television station, is seeking a driven, consultative sales professional to join our team as a Local Account Executive. In this role, you'll partner with businesses and advertising agencies to develop customized multi-platform marketing strategies that deliver measurable results. You'll leverage the power of broadcast television, OTT/streaming video, digital advertising, social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing and more to help clients connect with their audiences and achieve their goals. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Develop and maintain new business relationships with local and regional businesses, as well as advertising agencies. Apply the Scripps Sales Process (SSP) to identify customer needs and recommend customized advertising and marketing solutions that deliver return on investment. Sell and execute integrated advertising campaigns across television and digital platforms, including OTT/CTV, search marketing, social media, digital display and email targeting. Prospect independently, secure client meetings, conduct needs analyses, develop proposals, deliver presentations and close business. Analyze ratings, audience insights and market trends to create strategic advertising recommendations and maximize revenue opportunities. Serve as a trusted advisor by building strong client relationships, exceeding customer expectations and generating referrals. Manage all aspects of client service including proposal development, media negotiations, copy creation, credit applications and collections activity. Utilize CRM tools to effectively manage sales pipelines, track activities, forecast revenue and achieve key performance metrics. Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative advertising campaigns that address client objectives. Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular communication and networking opportunities. Perform routine administrative responsibilities including makegood resolutions, account updates, revenue tracking and sales reporting. Perform other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two or more years of successful sales experience preferred. Experience in strategic account management, broadcast ratings and digital advertising execution preferred. Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record and proof of insurance meeting company-required limits. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Self-motivated, goal-oriented and results-driven approach. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate research and customer needs into compelling marketing solutions. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding presentation and public speaking skills, both in-person and virtual. Strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets and Slides) and virtual conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx or similar technologies.
