U.S. IP Tech Transactions Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a mid-level associate (class of 2020–2022) to join our growing Intellectual Property & Commercial Transactions practice in our New York office. The base salary range offered for this role will be between $310,000- $390,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, performance, qualifications, degrees and location, as well as the needs of the firm. Key Responsibilities Advising leading clients across the technology, life sciences, consumer products, industrials, and manufacturing sectors on complex transactions. Providing counsel on IP‑intensive M&A (public and private) as well as financing and securitization transactions. Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including licensing, distribution, development collaboration, and joint venture arrangements. Managing and supervising junior associates. Performing additional tasks as required, including undertaking other duties necessary to fulfill the role. Qualifications Four to six years of relevant experience at a leading law firm. Strong drafting and analytical skills with attention to detail. Experience supervising junior associates. Background in IP‑intensive M&A, financing and securitization transactions, and commercial agreements. U.S. J.D. preferred; New York Bar admission required.
