Job Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The role works with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Responsibilities Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Performs non‑management open/close procedures. Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise. Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with company policies. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools. Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience. Successfully completes the assigned training. Other related duties, as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, etc.) per federal, state, and local law. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. Willingness to assist customers on the exterior of the building or retrieve products from storage areas. Minimum age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate. Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
