Position Summary

Treeworks is seeking an experienced and hands-on Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing initiatives across Massachusetts and New Jersey jurisdictions. This position is responsible for driving brand awareness, consumer engagement, and revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives. The Marketing Manager serves as a key contributor to Treeworks’ continued growth by ensuring our brands remain relevant, differentiated, and highly visible in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Executive Leadership and Creative Director to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with business objectives, sales goals, and brand growth initiatives.
• Lead brand management efforts, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and customer experience.
• Plan and execute product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Build and manage the yearly marketing budget
• Manage digital marketing efforts, including website content, B2B and B2C email campaigns, social media, and digital advertising.
• Create and oversee marketing materials including packaging support, sales collateral, presentations, event materials, and promotional assets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, production, and leadership teams
• Coordinate trade shows, dispensary activations, events, vendor relationships, and partnership opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity within the cannabis industry.
• Ensure all marketing initiatives comply with state cannabis advertising and packaging regulations.
• Track campaign performance and marketing effectiveness using analytics and reporting to inform strategy.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, designers, printers, photographers, consultants and other marketing vendors.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• 4+ years of marketing experience, including experience leading initiatives or teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field strongly preferred.
• Experience in cannabis, consumer packaged goods (CPG), food & beverage, wellness, or other regulated industries preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of branding, digital marketing, content development, and campaign execution.
• Knowledge of cannabis marketing regulations and compliance requirements preferred.
• Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
• Experience with marketing analytics, Hubspot, Microsoft Illustrator, Canva, and Asana preferred
• Creative thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
