Senior Scientist, Biostatistics

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Scientist in Biostatistics to support oncology drug development across multiple U.S. locations. The role involves designing clinical studies, conducting statistical analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on cancer therapeutics and biomarker research.

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical input into clinical development of cancer drugs and study design
• Lead and author statistical analysis plans, conduct analyses, and contribute to clinical study reports
• Prepare scientific presentations and manuscripts with statistical input
• Build relationships with statisticians, clinical teams, programmers, and regulatory personnel across the organization
• Participate in process improvement, training, and standards development for statistical expertise

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Statistics or related field, or Master's degree with six years clinical data analysis experience
• Proficiency in SAS and R statistical software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with presentation ability
• Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices
• Experience with regulatory requirements for clinical drug development and trial conduct
• Experience presenting to technical and lay audiences at public meetings preferred
• Oncology domain experience a plus

Compensation: $109,000–$174,800 base
