Sr. Construction Project Manager

What to Expect As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and executing construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with your project team, design team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Your technicalexpertise, organizational skills, and ability to effectively communicate will be key in coordinating andfacilitatingvarious aspects of the construction process.

This position will primarily serve for the semiconductor fab project in Austin with a potential move to Terafab.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end construction management of semiconductor facilities, from pre-construction through commissioning and handover
• Lead and manage multi-discipline projects, throughout all phases of construction, with overall architectural build-out, structural, and MEP familiarity
• Track site execution and inspections to ensure work is performed according to safety guidelines and quality standards. Ensure adherence of contractors' Quality Control standards and support internal Quality Assurance/Commissioning for turnover of MEP systems
• Responsible for project buy-out including developing bid packages, working with Procurement to issue RFP's, writing contracts and Scopes of Work, and issuing Work Orders. Conduct weekly review progress meetings with project teams toidentifyscope gaps, risks, project goals, and recovery plans
• Track and review contractor invoices. Create, manage, update, and enforce overall project schedule based off project documents. Compare and trackbaselinefrom actual and report variances.Familiarity with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
• Monitor project costs and expenses, comparing actuals against the budget while also Identifying cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering alternatives. Experience in reviewing, generating, and submitting RFI's and Submittals
• Experience in reading, interpreting, and implementing Contract Documents and Specifications. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local authorities, industry standards, and codes. Be able to communicate and coordinate with all project stakeholders from contractors, Design/Engineering, and QA/Commissioning teams

What You'll Bring

• A minimum of 3 years of Construction management experience with direct semiconductor, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing facilities
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, regulations, and safety protocols
• Experience withEPC,design-build construction methods
• Proficiencyin project management tools (MS project, Bluebeam, Primavera P6)
• Experience with Gas/Chemical construction projectsisan added advantage
