Senior Analytics Architect

Job Summary
Our client a leading Retail & Consumer Goods provider is seeking a Senior Analytics Architect to join their team! This position is Hybrid in St. Louis, Missouri.



Core Responsibilities

• Architect Snowflake data solutions
• Improve performance and reduce Snowflake costs
• Build scalable data pipelines
• Drive DataOps and governance strategy
• Support AI/GenAI initiatives
• Partner with leadership on analytics strategy
• Mentor teams and guide offshore engineers
• Solve production/data quality issues

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• 7+ years in Data Engineering / Data Architecture
• Senior-level Data/Analytics Architect
• Heavy Snowflake architecture and optimization background
• Someone who can design enterprise data platforms and drive AI/GenAI initiatives
• Hands-on technical leader; no direct reports
• Strong mix of architecture, engineering, governance, and business-facing communication
• SQL and Python experience
• dbt / ETL / data pipelines
• Azure cloud experience
• Data warehousing / lakes / BI
• Experience designing scalable enterprise data solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and optimization background
• Agile / Jira / GitHub

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Snowflake Cortex
• GenAI / LLM architecture
• AI copilots
• Responsible AI / AI security
• Airflow
• API development
• Tableau / Informatica / SAP

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $120,000 and $130,000 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
