Ultrasound Technologist (General)

Location: Dover, OH
Pay Rate: $45 - $50/hour
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening Shift
Schedule: 5x8 Hours | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to independently perform a broad range of ultrasound procedures while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders

• Prepare patients for procedures and explain examination processes

• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and effectively

• Evaluate image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy

• Document findings and maintain accurate patient records

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout examinations

• Follow all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols

• Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program

• Current ARDMS Certification Required

• State Licensure as Required by Facility and State Regulations

• Minimum 1 Year of Recent General Ultrasound Experience Preferred

• Experience Performing a Broad Range of Ultrasound Procedures

• BLS Certification Required

• Strong Knowledge of Ultrasound Imaging Techniques and Anatomy

• Ability to Produce High-Quality Diagnostic Images

• Excellent Communication and Patient Care Skills

• Experience with EMR Systems Preferred

• Ability to Work Independently During Evening Shifts
