Lead HousekeeperSpring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility providing acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting since 2001. Our individualized treatment includes a structured, therapeutic environment, intensive physician involvement and oversight, and daily group and educational programs. Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a full-time Lead Housekeeper. The Lead Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy patient care environment. This position leads by example, providing hands-on support, training, quality assurance, and task coordination for the housekeeping team where infection control and regulatory standards are critical. Bilingual/Spanish speaking required.Job Duties/Responsibilities:Perform cleaning duties safely and in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations or law.Follow organization policy and procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies, using appropriate processes and germicides for cleaning equipment.Other housekeeping duties, such as move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, clean kitchens, cooking utensils, silverware, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, as needed.Launder soiled linens as directed.Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for department/unit uses.Properly clean and store all equipment and supplies after each shift.Routinely practice infection control measures.Prepare rooms for meetings and furniture for facility.May oversee the day-to-day operation of housekeeping for facility.May be responsible for stocking of supplies.Assigns daily cleaning duties and ensures appropriate staffing coverage for all shifts.Assists in training new staff in infection prevention, safety, and cleaning protocols.Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning agents, disinfectants, and personal protective equipment.Performs routine and deep cleaning tasks in patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas.Ensures timely turnover of patient rooms and discharges in coordination with nursing.Assists with schedule adjustments, emergency response clean-up, or special projects as needed.This opportunity offers the following:Challenging and rewarding work environmentCompetitive compensationGenerous paid time off for full and part-time positionsExcellent medical, dental, vision and prescription drug plans for full and part-time positions401(K) with company matchCareer development opportunities within UHS and its subsidiaries!About Universal Health Services, Inc.
