Job Opportunity: Child Psychiatrist

Our organization is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Child Psychiatrist to become a part of our team at the Behavioral Medicine Center within the Department of Psychiatry. This role entails providing onsite weekend inpatient care for child behavioral health units, along with offering concurrent call coverage.

The work schedule can be flexible, either intermittent or regularly scheduled, based on the needs of the department.

• Conduct inpatient rounds and address acute psychiatric issues, with or without the assistance of residents and/or nurse practitioners.
• Respond to calls and support psychiatric residents in managing cases.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Offer supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when they are present.
• Perform duties independently or in collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, and engage with residents and/or students in a training environment when available.

The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $190 to $195 per hour , depending on years of experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity bonuses and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
