Today's Smile Dental in Crystal Falls, MI, is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our professional and supportive team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional chairside support to the dentist, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for every patient. We are seeking a team player who is committed to providing quality care and has a strong focus on patient satisfaction.
Today's Smile Dental is a small, agile dental practice located in a modern office setting in Crystal Falls, MI. We are a professional and supportive team dedicated to delivering high-quality dental care. Requirements
Prior dental assistant experience (1-2 years).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well within a team.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in dental sterilization procedures and disinfection techniques.
Job Description
Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures.
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during various treatments.
Take and record patients' medical and dental histories and vital signs.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following strict aseptic techniques.
Take and process dental X-rays.
Provide patients with clear postoperative and oral care instructions.
Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies.
Perform other duties, such as patient charting, treatment planning, and dental impressions.
